TCE Contracting undertook bulk earthworks and stormwater management for a multi-warehouse development project for FIFE Industrial Subdivision in Greenacre. The scope included bulk cut-to-fill earthworks, detailed excavation for retaining walls, structural footings, stormwater pipes and pits, temporary stormwater diversion, and subbase and asphalt works. During the bulk earthworks, TCE identified numerous unsuitable subgrade sections that needed replacement, which slowed production and required rework due to inclement weather. TCE addressed these issues under level 1 geotechnical supervision, ensuring high-quality replacements and effective communication with the client and Geotech consultant. Staging and sequencing were meticulously planned to accommodate the warehouse erection and other trades, with weekly two-week lookaheads provided to the client to ensure smooth site operations and continuity of work.
