TCE Contracting has successfully completed a comprehensive project in Southend Nine Alexandria, involving HAZMAT removal, demolition, remediation, and civil works. The project paves the way for the development of Southend Nine, a state-of-the-art industrial complex featuring a new café, offices, and industrial units. Key works included the removal of 22,000 m² of roofing and sarking, HAZMAT caulking under bonded conditions, and the demolition of storage buildings, old offices, and amenities across nine units. The team also managed façade saw cutting, strategic removal of asbestos-contaminated concrete hardstands, and the remediation of friable impacted soils with engineered capping. In-house brick cleaning was performed for recycling purposes, and civil works included constructing a carpark and trenching. TCE is proud to contribute to the precinct’s redevelopment.
